I'm taking part in the Swim for Stroke challenge!
I joined #TeamStroke for Swim for Stroke.

On 18th July 2015 , I went to bed with a headache ( no other problem ) my family could not wake me up after few hours in bed.
My husband rang 999, who sent rapid response bike also a ambulance. They could not wake me up. They spent several hours try to stable me. I was airlifted to hospital by Wiltshire Air ambulance. When I got to hospital I had test,scans which showed I had a cerebellum stroke. I was in ITU for 15 days then another 2 was on ward. I recovered well.
My world fell apart again on 21st July 2016. I somehow managed to get legionnaires disease. Which also caused me to have another stroke. My family wold were thrown upside-down as they were told I had a slim chance of serving, hospital wanted to put a DNR in place.
I LUCKILY SURVIVED, I AM LEFT WITH WEIGHT , BALANCE, MEMORY PROBLEMS ALSO BLADDER PROBLEMS. BUT AT LEAST IM HER
