I'm taking part in the Swim for Stroke challenge!
I joined #TeamStroke for Swim for Stroke.
Stroke Association is here to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. We believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke, so we work with the stroke community to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support. We rely on your support to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.

My why… ✨
Sunday 20th Aug As you might know my lovely daughter Paige suffered a devastating subarachanoid haemorrhage in February at school this year. This is a rare type of Stroke uncommon in children but particularly in children of Paige’s age. She’s made an outstanding recovery albeit she has a large hurdle to jump by means of another operation to her heart, she has a defect which has only just been found which caused this to happen. Paediatric stroke is not talked about all that much, and it’s something you never ever consider might happen to your own child. In an extremely unlucky scenario we have been fortunate to still have our beautiful girl and I (likewise her dad has an idea up his sleeve too) will be raising money for a few charities that have helped us all immensely. I thought I’d start with this one.. paediatric stroke support is so vital.Thank you to my sponsors
