I'm taking part in the Great North Run as part of #TeamStroke
I joined #TeamStroke for the Great North Run.
My best friend’s little girl Olive was just 25 days old when an MRI had confirmed, she’d had a neonatal stroke straight after birth. This has left Olive with brain damage to her left frontal lobe and no actual understanding of where her development will go from there.
Olive takes every day in her stride, although she is delayed in her development, she is one strong/determined little girl!
If anyone knows me will know I tap out of running at any given opportunity, but I’m going to give this whirl for a very important little girl in my life!
