I'm taking part in the Edinburgh Marathon in memory of my Granda
In November 2023 my Granda suffered a life changing stroke, and battled with his health since then. On 23rd August 2024, we sadly lost him as he passed away peacefully with his family by his side.
Shortly after his passing, I discovered that the Edinburgh Marathon was taking place on my Granda’s birthday so I couldn’t think of a more perfect way to honour his memory. Myself and my family will be running the marathon together so any donations made to support a charity that is close to us means the world.
