We are taking part in the Edinburgh Marathon in memory of Alan Gray

In November 2023 Alan Gray suffered a life changing stroke, and battled with his health since. On 23rd August 2024, we sadly lost him as he passed away peacefully with his family by his side.  

Shortly after his passing, we discovered that the Edinburgh Marathon was taking place on his birthday. We couldn’t think of a more meaningful way to honour his memory. A group of Alan’s family and friends will be coming together for the weekend to take part in the Edinburgh Marathon Festival - some running the Marathon, Half Marathon, or Relay, while others cheer from the sidelines.

Any donation in support of a charity close to our hearts means the world to us.

Stroke Association are here to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. They believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke, so they work with the stroke community to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support. Stroke Association rely on your support to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.
