Swim for Stroke

I'm taking part in the Swim for Stroke challenge!

I joined #TeamStroke for Swim for Stroke.

Stroke Association is here to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. We believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke, so we work with the stroke community to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support. We rely on your support to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.

Why I'm taking part

Friday 28th Jul
My lovely mum had a mini stroke recently which was a massive shock and scare for her and the family. It will be a road to recovery but she's doing so well and we're so proud of her for staying strong through this and together we will get through this and come out the other side.

Many People suffer from stokes every day and more help is needed for those affected and to help rebuild after the affects, offer support, help with medication and equipment needed.

Staff that work with patients and families afterwards and help in recovery, thank you.

Due to this I have decided to take on a swimming challenge. I swim twice a week and but have set myself a large target of swimming 7 miles before the end of September.

If anyone is able to support me in this challenge and raise money from stroke association, all donations would be greatfully recieved and help so much.

If I can reach my sponsorship goal I will receive a swim medal of achievement which will be a nice keepsake from the event and challenge.

Thank you all for support, updates and progress will be added as I go xx ❤️
