I'm taking part in the Swim for Stroke challenge!
I have chosen to take part in the Swim for Stroke challenge for 2 reasons. Reason 1 - I have just attended a funeral of a friend who unfortunately lost his life to a stroke at an early age (63) and wanted to do something in his memory. Reason 2 - my boss at work is a Stroke survivor and is still feeling the affects and has a long recovery period ahead. The Stroke Association provides support to families and victims of Stroke on all levels. I am planning to add up all the miles throughout the 2024 year and see how many I complete. I have previously done swim challenges for diabetes being diabetic myself and have swam 22 miles in 12 weeks so I can only imagine what I can achieve over the whole year.My Achievements
