Stroke Association is here to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. We believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke, so we work with the stroke community to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support. We rely on your support to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.

You never expect one of your loved ones to have two TIA's in one week as well as other complications. My mum is one of them, she the centre of all our lives and we love her so much and want her to get better soon.

I feel I needed to do something to show I am helping towards all the thousands of people going through this with their loved ones.

I am trying to be strong so am throwing myself into going swimming and trying to complete 450 laps over a period of time and raise as much money as I can towards the Stoke association.
