Stride for Stroke

I'm taking part in the Stride for Stroke challenge!

I joined #TeamStroke for Stride for Stroke. I will be taking one step for each of the 1.3 million stroke survivors in the UK. The 1.3 million steps challenge works out at 10,000 steps a day for 130 days.

Stroke Association is here to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. We believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke, so we work with the stroke community to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support. We rely on your support to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments. The reason behind me taking part in the stride for

Stroke challenge is because a very much loved family member of mine suffered a stroke not

So long ago resulting in sight loss in one of their eyes. Luckily they are a survivor but many others who suffered a stroke may not be so lucky. So if I can raise some money to help a good cause I will be so happy!

Stride for stroke

Monday 22nd Jan
My name is Sophie iam 28yrs old. I have decided to take part and raise money for the stride for stroke and do 10.000 or more  steps in 130 days. I have chosen this charity because a very close family member has recently had a stroke leading to the loss of sight in one eye, which unfortunately will not return. This family member although lost the sight in their eye has been very lucky and is making a recovery, some people don’t get that chance, so I would like to try my best to raise at least £300 to go towards treatment and rehabilitation for stroke patients. Every little helps even if it’s just 50p if you can give to help these stroke patients have a chance at recovery then please do so. Thank you very much
