Walk your Marathon

I'm taking part in the Walk your Marathon challenge!

I joined #TeamStroke for Walk your Marathon, taking on 26.2 miles over 2 weeks.

Stroke Association is here to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. We believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke, so we work with the stroke community to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support. We rely on your support to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.

My updates

A cause close to home.

Friday 29th Mar
My daughter suffered a stroke aged 28. She was lucky and has made a great recovery due to wonderful NHS services and support from the Stroke Association.
We thought this was the last we’d seen of Strokes but in 2022 my father suffered a stroke and did not survive.
This cause is close to my heart and I feel it’s my duty to do something to try and give back and help the Stroke Association raise vital funds for research and to help rebuild the lives of others.
Please help me help them if you can.

Thank you to my sponsors
