I'm taking part in the Stride for Stroke challenge!

I joined #TeamStroke for Stride for Stroke. I will be taking one step for each of the 1.3 million stroke survivors in the UK. The 1.3 million steps challenge works out at 10,000 steps a day for 130 days.

Stroke Association is here to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. We believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke, so we work with the stroke community to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support. We rely on your support to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.

For my dad🤍

On Thursday afternoon, I received the news that my amazing dad suffered a severe stroke which led to multiple bleeds in the brain. 
Me and my family were told to prepare for the worst as his scans continued to worsen.
Thankfully the staff in the ICU at Salford royal worked a miracle to keep him alive and are still doing so as he progresses slowly in his recovery. 
It’s been like a living nightmare and I have never felt more lost in my life but the staff in the ICU continue to provide such a comfort to me and my family at this awful time, which makes us want to give a little something back.
If you can, please support us in giving anything you can towards the stroke association, we are all going to be doing 10,000 steps a day for 130 days.
