I'm taking part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2026 as part of #TeamStroke for my grandmother❤️

I joined #TeamStroke for the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2026 in honour of my grandmother who has suffered two strokes.

There are over 1.4 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year. That's one stroke every five minutes.

Seeing someone I love go through something so sudden and life changing opened my eyes to how important fast treatment, proper care and long-term support truly are. This run is my way of celebrating my grandmothers strength, raising awareness, and helping others who are facing the same terrifying moment.

Every pound I raise is a step towards better research, better recovery, and better futures for stroke survivors and families❤️
