Stroke Association

East coast triathlon, for the stroke association.

In 2011 my mother suffered a hemorrhagic stroke, her courage and strength since that day have been awe inspiring, leading me to chase what became my dream of becoming a paramedic which I’m now around 7 months away from, but has also empowered me to choose the stroke association as my fundraising opportunity for my upcoming triathlon in April, any donations would be massively appreciated however small. My mum being supported by the stroke association from very early on in her recovery allows me to feel comfortable that every penny will go towards saving lives and improving those of the people who go though this awful situation.

Mum, I’ll do you proud on that course, and I promise to give everything in the name of all those who kindly choose to donate to this incredible charity.

“Stroke Association is here to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. We believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke, so we work with the stroke community to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support. We rely on your support to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.”
