Monday 20th Jul

I've decided to up the bar for my fundraising challenge and will now be taking on three races for the Stroke Association in memory of my Grandad.

✅ Wilne 10K – 6th September
✅ Robin Hood Half Marathon – 27th September
✅ Derby 10 Mile – 15th November

Every mile is for my Grandad, my Mum, and everyone whose life has been affected by stroke. 💜

Running the Nottingham Half Marathon in Memory of My Grandad

Wednesday 15th Jul
On 27th September, I'll be taking on the Nottingham Half Marathon in memory of my grandad and to raise money for the Stroke Association.

In June, I lost my grandad. Like many families who have experienced the loss of someone they love, the past few months have been incredibly difficult. He was someone who meant the world to me—always there with his support, his wisdom, and a smile that could brighten any day. His influence on my life is something I'll carry with me forever.

This half marathon is much more than a race for me. Every training run, every early morning, and every one of the 13.1 miles on race day will be dedicated to my grandad. He was an amazing man who meant so much to our family, and I know he'll be in my thoughts from the moment I cross the start line until I reach the finish.

The Stroke Association provides life-changing support to stroke survivors and their families. They help people rebuild their lives after stroke, fund vital research, and work to improve care and awareness so that fewer families have to face the challenges that ours has.

Training for a half marathon hasn't been easy. There have been plenty of days where I've questioned whether I could do it, but then I remember why I started. Compared to what stroke survivors and their families go through every day, the miles are a small challenge. If running 13.1 miles can help raise awareness and funds for such an important cause, then every step is worth it.

If you're able to support me, whether through a donation or by sharing this page, I would be incredibly grateful. Every pound raised will go towards helping the Stroke Association continue their amazing work supporting people affected by stroke and funding research that could change lives in the future.

This run is for my grandad. It's for my mum. It's for everyone whose life has been touched by stroke.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for supporting me on this journey. Your generosity means more than words can say, and together we can make a real difference.

Thank you so much.

Thank you to my sponsors
