I'm fundraising for my Dad
On 3rd May 2026, my sister and I will be running the Birmingham Half Marathon for the Stroke Association.
In September 2024, our dad, who is our absolute rock, had a TIA (Transient ischaemic attack). It was a scary reminder of how suddenly life can change, and how important awareness, prevention, and recovery support really are.
We’re running in his honour and to raise money for the Stroke Association, who support stroke survivors and their families, fund vital research, and help people rebuild their lives after stroke.
If you’re able to donate or share, it would genuinely mean a lot to us and help make a real difference. 🤍
Stroke Association is here to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. We believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke, so we work with the stroke community to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support. We rely on your support to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.
