Join us for the Great Birmingham Run 2026. This spectacular running event is the Midlands' biggest and best, with both Half Marathon and 10k routes. Starting and finishing in the heart of the city, there's an incredible atmosphere and it's sure to be a race to remember.
Charity place
10k charity places cost £20 and have a £150 minimum sponsorship target (excluding gift aid).
Half Marathon charity places cost £25 and have a £250 minimum sponsorship target (excluding gift aid).
Own place
If you have secured your own place directly through the Great Run website, we would love for you to join #TeamStroke. Those who secure their own place will have no minimum sponsorship target, although every penny raised will help rebuild lives after stroke.

Frequently asked questions
Will I receive a running vest to wear at the Great Birmingham Run?
Yes, you will be sent a Stroke Association running vest. This will arrive with you approximately 8 weeks before the event.
Can I take part as a team?
Everyone has to register individually, so please send the link to register to your team mates so they can each sign up for their place. Then get in touch to let us know the name of your team. Places in this event are in high demand, so please encourage your team to sign up at the earliest opportunity to secure their spot. You can then combine your fundraising targets and fundraise together as a team.
