We are taking part in the Great Manchester Run 2024 as part of #TeamStroke

In August this year, one of our wonderful colleagues, Kate, suffered a stroke at the age of 23. Incredibly, just 4 months on, she is rebuilding her life, she's back at work and is working hard to come to terms with the changes her stroke has brought to her life. She has had fantastic support from Stroke Association, who have been instrumental in enabling her to rebuild and get back to her new normal. 

We want to show our appreciation of the help they've provided to Kate, and to all those people who have suffered a similar life-changing event, as well as their families. 

That's why we've joined #TeamStroke for the Great Manchester Run 2024.

There are over 1.3 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year. That's one stroke every five minutes.

We're here to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. We believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke, so we work with the stroke community to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support. We rely on your support to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.
