Stride for Stroke

I'm taking part in the Stride for Stroke challenge! In memory of my Nan

I joined #TeamStroke for Stride for Stroke. I will be taking one step for each of the 1.3 million stroke survivors in the UK. The 1.3 million steps challenge works out at 10,000 steps a day for 130 days.

Stroke Association is here to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. We believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke, so we work with the stroke community to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support. We rely on your support to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.

day 10!

Thursday 18th Jan
Well what a ten days! Few hiccups in the week in the form of a midweek migrain but managed to reclaim the steps the day after! 😀 10.000 a day working in IT is something. Onwards to the next ten days!

Day 3!

Wednesday 10th Jan
No exciting step revelations today. But still on track with 12,359 steps today.

day 2!

Tuesday 9th Jan
Turns out the secret to increasing your steps is to be less efficient! Unload the car in one journey! Nope not anymore. 11971 steps today

day 1!

Monday 8th Jan
Today is the first day of 130. I will walk each step thinking of nan. Even when it is cold and wet and even snowy looking at the weather today!

Thank you to my sponsors
