I'm fundraising for...

Carol Manser has been in my life for 30 years or more, as a work colleague and a friend. Last year on 27th September, this powerhouse of a woman had her life changed forever, caused by a massive bleed to the brain caused by blood clots. She is improving daily; I am convinced she would say not fast enough, but in my eyes, remarkable and shows her strength and determination and has been greatly aided by the help and research of the Stroke Association.
I will be running my first half marathon to raise money for the Stroke Association with a target of £420...... £20 for each km I will be running !!!
The Stafford Half Marathon, 22nd March 2026.
Stroke Association is here to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. We believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke, so we work with the stroke community to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support. We rely on your support to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.
