I'm fundraising for...
back on February 17th 2016 my world stopped. At the age 24 years old, I was rushed to Worthing General Hospital having a stroke. The doctors gave me a prognosis that felt like a life sentence: I was told I might never walk again and if I were to i would need to use walking aids and on top of that I'd likely face another stroke within the decade. The doctors had the data, however I had the grit & determination. Back in February this year (2026) I celebrated my 10 years Strokeversary it was not just marking a calendar date, it was marking the end of a "deadline" I refused to meet. I am Walking, Running , Thriving and l am Stronger than I ever thought possible.
And I’ve told myself that it’s time to conquer some beasts & that is starting with the Run Bournemouth Half Marathon and in doing so I’m hoping to raise money for an incredible charity that helped me back in 2016.
For I am not a Victim.
I am a SURVIVOR.

I never imagined that ten years later you’d be running a half marathon. I thought you were amazing ten years ago when you came back to Kintbury so soon after your stroke and I still think you’re amazing now. Good luck!
