I'm taking part in the TCS London Marathon as part of #TeamStroke
Hi, it’s Mark.
Having miraculously obtained a place from the public ballot I’m running the London Marathon this year for the Stroke Association and to honour someone very special, my wife Sarah or as I called her my Bobsey.
We lost Bobsey 2 years ago under unimaginably difficult circumstances and our world was turned upside down.
So, at the age of 64 and with 2 wonky knees I will be lining up on 26th April for 26.2 miles.
Every donation, big or small, will fund research, raise awareness and provide the very best care and support to people affected by stroke.

Sunday 26th Apr Hi all, I finished the Marathon in 4 hours 42 mins. It was a fantastic day with unbelievable support over the entire course but very warm so a bit of a struggle.

Saturday 25th Apr Taking it easy and hoping that tomorrow is a little cooler.
Long Run
Tuesday 31st Mar Slight cold 🤒 but 19 miles completed today as planned.
Training
