I'm taking part in the TCS London Marathon as part of #TeamStroke
I’m running my first ever marathon 🏃♀️
Last year, while watching the London Marathon on TV, I boldly declared, “With some training, I bet I could do it in under 4 hours.” At the time, I could barely run to the corner shop and back… but I entered the ballot anyway — and somehow, I got in.
So now I’m taking on the biggest challenge of my life so far. And I’m doing it for the Stroke Association — a charity that supports stroke survivors and their families, funds vital research, and helps people rebuild their lives after a stroke. More than 100,000 people in the UK experience a stroke every year, and it can change a life in an instant.
