Brighton Marathon 2025

Why You Should Give Me Money.

This is slightly tricky as I have a medically diagnosed sincerity deficiency.

I'm going to do a serious thing for serious reasons. In 2023 my Dad had a (thankfully relatively minor) stroke. The wonderful people at the stroke association have been magnificent in helping him recover and continue to support many more in facing the immense challenges strokes can bring.

So I'm going to run a frankly ludicrous distance in order to (hopefully) emotionally manipulate you into donating some money to help this superb charity continue to operate and support people that really need it.

Give what you can, help who you can.

I'm taking part in the Brighton Marathon as part of #TeamStroke

Monday 16th Sep

I joined #TeamStroke for the Brighton Marathon 2025.

There are over 1.3 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year. That's one stroke every five minutes.

We're here to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. We believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke, so we work with the stroke community to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support. We rely on your support to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.

Thank you to my sponsors
