130 days complete!!!
Friday 10th May130 days complete! So proud of myself for not only completing the 1.3 million steps but completing it quicker than I thought🤩can’t thank everyone enough for the support I’ve received and the money donated to an amazing charity. Although I never received help from the stroke association myself I can understand what courage it takes someone that has had a stroke or lost someone who has had a stroke to go ask for help. I know the money raised will help and support so many people and that’s all thanks to everyone who donated. So a massive thank you to everyone who donated☺️a huge £1,043 raised ending with 1,383,832 steps in 130 days🥳

Monday 8th Jan First week and I really did surprise myself most of these steps are from normal day to day things, I went for two short walks and still managed to do the full 70,000 for the week.My story
Tuesday 2nd Jan Hi, my names Liv I’m 21 years old and on the 13th July 2021, I suffered a right basal ganglia haemorrhage. This left me completely paralysed all down my left side. After a month in the main hospital where I was bed bound I was moved to a specialist rehabilitation ward at another hospital where I then learnt to stand/walk all over again. 2 years post stroke and I no longer have to use my wheelchair although I take alot of breaks when I walk and suffer with pain in my leg. Sadly after all the rehabilitation I have received I still have no use in my left arm/hand and suffer with tightness in my fingers and pain in my shoulder blade. Despite what i have been through I’ve never let it stop me from doing the one thing I love the most and that’s going out walking and exploring new places, so I thought this challenge would be the best opportunity for me to raise money for a charity that means a lot to me and to get more active and possibly improve my strength more. I will complete the step goal but some days I may not reach the 10,000 steps but I’ll try to compensate this with other days. I will be posting updates weekly. ShareThank you to my sponsors
