Stronger for Stroke – My Hyrox Challenge for Change
This October, I’m taking on Hyrox Birmingham to raise funds for the UK Stroke Association - an organisation close to my heart. My stepdad’s mum recently passed away following a stroke, 12 years after her husband died from one too. Stroke has touched our family twice, and I want to turn that pain into purpose.
Hyrox is a seriously tough fitness competition, but it’s nothing compared to what stroke survivors and their families endure every day. I’m training hard, lifting heavier, and pushing my limits in memory of them - and in support of the Stroke Association’s incredible work.
I also want to raise awareness, especially among women, about how exercise isn’t just about looking good - it’s a powerful way to protect your future health. Stroke can affect anyone, but regular movement can reduce risk and change outcomes.
Please support me if you can - every donation helps fund vital research, support survivors, and create a stronger future.
Proud of you for doing this, you'll smash it !! X
