I'm taking part in the Great Manchester Run 2025 as part of #TeamStroke
I joined #TeamStroke for the Great Manchester Run 2025.
This May marks another year since I lost my beloved son, who passed away far too young at the age of 29 after suffering a stroke. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think of him, and the life, laughter, and love he brought into this world.
To honour his memory, I’m running the Manchester 10k. It’s not just a race—it’s a way for me to turn grief into purpose, and to raise awareness and funds for stroke research and support.
Stroke can strike anyone, at any age. It’s sudden, devastating, and often misunderstood. I’m running for my son, and for the thousands of other families whose lives have been forever changed by stroke.
If you can, please donate. Every pound raised will go towards funding vital research, rehabilitation, and support for stroke survivors and their families. Your kindness means more than words can say.
