I am running the Cardiff Half Marathon to raise money for the Stroke Association
In April 2023, My partners Mum had a grade-4 subarachnoid brain haemorrhage, which has left her unable to walk, talk and eat.
She is an incredible person, who lights up the room and never fails to put a smile on anyone’s face. She is a big figure in my life and pushed me to chase my goals and dreams through always being the best version of myself. It is safe to say that I wouldn’t be where I am today if she hadn’t been there!
Even though the care has been incredible, it has still ripped a massive hole in many peoples lives. Therefore, I have decided to run the Cardiff Half Marathon to do my part to ensure anyone else going through something similar, gets the best possible care and assistance possible.
