TCS London Marathon 2026

I'm taking part in the TCS London Marathon as part of #TeamStroke

I joined #TeamStroke for the TCS London Marathon 2026.

Hi, I’m James, and I’m running the 2026 London Marathon in support of the Stroke Association. This race isn’t just a personal challenge for me; it’s a heartfelt tribute to two incredible people in my life – my Nanny Christine and my Grandad Mick.

Nanny Christine wasn’t just my Nan – she was my absolute favourite person. She had a way of lighting up every room and making life feel brighter. Losing her was a heartbreak I’ll never fully get over, and running for her is my way of keeping her memory alive.

My Grandad Mick, who has fought through multiple strokes, continues to show a resilience I deeply admire. Despite the challenges he faces, his determination to keep pushing forward every day inspires me in ways I can’t put into words.

This race is for them, and for every person who has been affected by strokes. I’m raising funds for the Stroke Association to help ensure more people can access the support they need, so no one has to face this fight alone.

Every donation will make a difference in the lives of stroke survivors and their families. I’m so grateful for your support!

Thank you for helping me honor the memory of my Nanny Christine and support my Grandad Mick in his journey.
