I'm fundraising for my dad who suffered two strokes within a year.
New Year’s Eve of 2023/2024 my dad sadly suffered a stroke, he spent 3 months in hospital learning to swallow, talk, eat and walk. After weeks of intense physio things were looking good and dad was making a speedy recovery which was so lovely to see.
Fast forward to August 2024 dad was up walking and back to his usual stuff. However 12 days into August the unimaginable happened dad suffered a second stroke which is very uncommon in such a short amount of time. Obviously for us as a family this was a complete bombshell and we felt like our world had just been shattered into pieces. We were living in a nightmare all over again.
For those who know my dad you know what he’s like and two strokes aren’t going to hold him down. It would be great to raise some money for this horrible disease that affects to many people.
