I'm taking part in the Great North Run as part of #TeamStroke
Last year we sadly lost my Aunty Carole after a long health battle following her suffering a severe stroke the year prior.
I will be running in her memory and raising funds to support vital research for better stroke care and research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.
There are over 1.3 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year - that’s one stroke every five minutes.
Stroke Association work to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke so any donation would be hugely appreciated 💜
