That’s my dad in my picture and I’m taking part in the Stride for Stroke challenge for him!
I joined #TeamStroke for Stride for Stroke. I will be taking one step for each of the 1.3 million stroke survivors in the UK. The 1.3 million steps challenge works out at 10,000 steps a day for 130 days.
My dad suffered a stroke in January 2017 and thus began the hardest 5 years of our life trying to get him better and get the best care for him but unfortunately he passed in February 2022. I’m doing this for him but to also help others who have struggled with stroke in hopes that their story with stroke will end better than ours did.
