I'm fundraising for...
Like many others, I wanted to set myself a challenge for the year. So - I’ve decided to take part in the Edinburgh Half Marathon, and doing so fundraise for the Stroke Association. I’m sure a few of you will know that my dad had a life changing ischemic stroke back in September. When it first happened, I wasn’t even aware of what a stroke really was. The information and support that this charity has given me has been so helpful during my dad’s recovery. Having seen the profound impact of strokes on individuals and their families, I would like to do something to help make a difference.
The stroke association is the UK’s leading charity dedicated to conquering stroke. Their research, support services and advocacy work are critical in helping survivors rebuild their lives. By fundraising, I am to contribute to their vital efforts in raising awareness, funding groundbreaking research, and providing essential support for those affected by stroke.
