I'm taking part in the Great North Run as part of #TeamStroke

There are over 1.3 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year. That's one stroke every five minutes.

I am running for my Uncle Al who passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in February 2024, due to a stroke.

I want to raise money for the charity that supports and helps rebuild the lives of stroke survivors, in memory of my Uncle Al who loved an adventure and challenge !
