I'm taking part in the Great Birmingham Run 2026 as part of #TeamStroke

I’m running to raise money for the Stroke Association in memory of my grandad, who bravely fought through five strokes.

Seeing the strength and determination he showed during such difficult times was truly inspiring. Stroke affects not just the person who has it, but their whole family, and it made me realise how important support and research are.

I’m taking on this run to honour my grandad and help support others who are facing the same battle. Any donation, big or small, would mean a lot and will help the Stroke Association continue their vital work supporting stroke survivors and their families.
