I'm taking part in the Cardiff Half Marathon 2026 as part of #TeamStroke
This year, I’ll be running the Cardiff Half Marathon and raising money for the Stroke Association in support of my grandad.
Last year, he suffered a major stroke, which completely changed his life and affected our whole family. We experienced first-hand just how important the support provided by the Stroke Association is.
They’ve helped him with physiotherapy and speech therapy, supported our family, and helped him connect with other people who have been through similar experiences.
I’m doing this to give something back and to help raise money so that other stroke survivors and their families can continue to receive the same support that meant so much to us.
This will be my first half marathon and I know it will be tough! But I’m really proud to be raising money for a charity that has helped my family so much.
