Stride for Stroke

I'm taking part in the Stride for Stroke challenge!

I am hoping to raise funds for the UK stroke association and would like to ask family and friends if you would kindly sponsor me in this cause by donating to my fundraiser . I know times are tough so any donation would be much appreciated 

I am challenging myself to walking 10,000 steps a day for a total of 130 days In memory of my Amazing Mother who sadly passed away after suffering a major stroke 
Also to  raise awareness of the work and support carried out by the Stroke Association for the 
current 1.3 million stroke survivors in the UK so the  challenge works out at 10,000 steps a day for 130 days. In support of those lives that have been affected due to a stroke.

On a daily average in the Month of February I walked anything between 5 to 7 miles each morning as well as attending a Hyrox gym session for an hour each day helping me reach  a total of 719,987 steps so far
So  I am Well ahead of schedule 💜

Bring on March !! only 580,013 to go to complete my 1.3million step Challenge 🦋

My Mother

Saturday 30th Dec
Every step I take will be in loving memory of my beautiful mum who sadly passed away 18th July 2023 after suffering a major stroke. My days revolved around the wellbeing of mum, she was a major part of my everyday life I loved her with all of my heart ,my best friend ,the anchor of our family,our Matriach. I feel totally lost and in disbelief that she no longer walks this earth so every step I take will be in her memory and in my heart she will walk beside me. There will never be closure my grief is as strong as the love I have for her and not a day will go by that my mother's memory will fade.I love and miss her so very much ,my first thought each morning and my last at night. Goodnight godbless mum ,sweet dreams ,I love you dearly x x
