I'm taking part in the TCS London Marathon for My Dad 💜 #TeamStroke
I joined #TeamStroke for the TCS London Marathon 2026.
I’ve always said I wanted to run the London Marathon before I turn 40 and on 26th April 2026, that’s exactly what I’ll be doing. What started as a personal goal has become something far more meaningful.
On 15th February 2025, my dad had a haemorrhagic stroke. It came completely out of the blue and changed our lives in an instant.
A year on, my dad has come so far. Although the stroke has left him with life-changing effects, his strength and determination inspire me every day. After everything he’s been through, running this marathon feels like the perfect way to turn a tough chapter into something positive and to help others facing the same journey.
Every mile will be for my dad, for stroke survivors, and for families whose lives have been changed forever 🏃♀️
If you’re able to donate, big or small, it would mean the world to me. And if you can’t, please take this as a reminder to look after yourself. Stroke can happen to anyone.
