I'm taking part in the Great Manchester Run 2025 as part of #TeamStroke
I joined #TeamStroke for the Great Manchester Run 2025.
In October 2024, my Dad had a stroke. I will be running my first half-marathon in support of him and the Stroke Association, who work to provide the best possible support to stroke victims. Jo will be running the 10k in support.
There are over 1.3 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year. That's one stroke every five minutes.
