Brandon Horton

Stroke Association

I’m running the Manchester Half Marathon for the stroke association in memory of my Mum

Strokes are something that are far too familiar to my family. Last year I sadly lost my mum to a stroke at the age of 55. The stress of this caused my Nan to also have a stroke, something that she is still battling with the lasting effects of.

This has been an extremely challenging time and I want to do something positive for a charity that is very close to my heart.

Stroke Association aims to help people to rebuild their lives after stroke. Working with the stroke community to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support.
