I'm taking part in the TCS London Marathon as part of #TeamStroke
I joined #TeamStroke for the TCS London Marathon 2025.
There are over 1.3 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year. That's one stroke every five minutes.
As some of you may know, back in 2019 my mum had a stroke, she was one of the lucky ones who has since made a full recovery, however, there are so many people who take much longer to recover, and some who sadly never fully recover. A stroke can happen to any of us at any time with no warning signs. We as a family are so grateful for the care my mum received,
I’m hoping that I have inherited even a small part of my mums strength and resilience to help me through my training & then to get me across the finish line.
