Why I am taking part #TeamStroke
I will be running the TCS London Marathon for #TeamStroke in honour of my Uncle Paul.
I have seen first-hand how incredible #TeamStroke have been in their support during the rehabilitation journey after overcoming his third stroke last year.
There are over 1.3 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year. That's one stroke every five minutes.
The Stroke Association rely on your support to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.
I couldn’t be more proud to run for such an incredible cause and would be grateful for any donations towards this life changing charity.
I know they say you should act FAST when dealing with strokes, well now it’s time for me to run FAST!
