London Marathon ✅ ✅
London Marathon 2024 officially complete. What an experience we had as well. It was all going so well until a hilly point about 19/20 miles in caught us both out a little bit. The last 6 miles were tough but we both made it to the end without stopping and smashed our target of sub 3:30. Today, me and my cousin Niall have signed up to run the London Marathon to support the Stroke Association. Our family has recently been impacted by this serious life-threating medical condition when our uncle Frank had a stroke which hospitalised him for several months. He's doing everything he can to recover and we're slowly seeing signs of improvement and hopefully our running journey gives him some added motivation! We'll be sharing our journey over the next couple of months and we hope you can support us along the way!We are taking part in the TCS London Marathon as part of #TeamStroke

There are over 1.3 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year. That's one stroke every five minutes.
We're here to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. We believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke, so we work with the stroke community to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support. We rely on your support to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.
