We must be mad!
On the 1st August 2022, we lost our Grandma Gwen to a Stroke which unfortunatly led to other complications.She was the heart of the family, and always lit up a room with her infectious laugh (with a little snort too) and her love for the family forever fierce! We were not to be fooled however, as if we misbehaved, there would always be a threat of 'clipping off our ears' which was always taken seriously!
As her 100th birthday would've been in 2026, Hayley decided to put out a post and see what other crazy individual would want to run 26.2 miles,....and we'll here we are, and the rest will remain history!

I joined #TeamStroke for the Brighton Marathon 2026.
There are over 1.4 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year. That's one stroke every five minutes.
