Frequently asked questions
Will I receive a top for my Paris Marathon challenge?
Yes, you will be sent a Stroke Association running top when you've hit 50% of your fundraising target. This will arrive with you by approximately a month before event date at the latest.
What if I don't reach the minimum fundraising target?
We'll be on hand to support you and help you to reach your fundraising goals.
We need every charity place participant to raise at least £800. This is because as a charity we have to pay a significant amount of money to secure places in such a prestigious event. Together with staff time, cost of materials and many other costs, without this minimum sponsorship we would incur a financial loss.
We need to ensure all participants raise at least £800 to cover our costs and allow us to help rebuild more lives after stroke.
Can I take part as a team?
You sure can! The more the merrier on Team Stroke.
Everyone has to register individually, so please send the link to register to your team mates so they can each sign up for their place. Then get in touch to let us know the name of your team.
You can then combine your fundraising targets and fundraise together e.g. £2,400 for a three person team.
