What is the ISDN residential?

The ISDN Residential is hosted by the Stroke Association, and supported by the NHS England Stroke team. It brings together leaders from across Englands ISDN's, NHS England Stroke Team and the Stroke Association. The residential offers expert-led sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities focused on advancing stroke care across England.

When and where is the residential taking place?

The residential will be held from 12noon on Thursday 16 October until 13:00 on Friday 17 October 2025 at Rutland Hall Hotel & Spa (LE15 8AB). Lunch will be served at the Blossom Resturant from 12noon on Thursday. We will also conclude our time together with lunch at 13:00 on Friday 17 October.
What time will the ISDN Residential run?

The residential will begin with lunch at 12noon on Thursday 16 October, with sessions commencing at 13:00. Our time together will conclude at 13:00. You are welcome to join us at the Blossom Resturant from 13:00 on Friday 17 October.
Who should attend this residential?

This event is designed for ISDN Acute and Rehab Leads, SQuIRe leads, ISDN Managers & Project Managers.
We are aware that the residential clashes with the TASC meeting taking place at the same time. We would encourage the Acute Clinical Leads from the 10 ISDN's part of this event to prioritise attending the TASC event.

How do I register for the residential?

What is the cost to attend?

Attending the residential is free. The Stroke Association fund the cost of the residential and meals. Travel should be funded by your ISDN.

What is the cancellation policy?

If you can no longer attend after booking your space please let our Events Team know by emailing events@stroke.org.uk

Can I transfer my space to someone else?

Yes, if you can no longer attend but a colleague from your ISDN can attend in your place please contact: events@stroke.org.uk
What topics will be covered?

How is the programme designed?

The programme is created by the Stroke Association in partnership with NHS England Stroke Team. The programme will be available by end of August.

Is parking available at the venue?

Yes, parking is available at Rutland Hall Hotel & Spa

Will transportation be provided?

Delegates are responsible for arranging and funding their own travel. We will arrange taxi transfers from Oakham station. Please let us know what train you are traveling on and we will arrange these transfers.
