To run for Stroke Association you can register for a charity place via Run for Charity. To secure your place we require a £20 registration fee and commitment to raise a £250 minimum sponsorship target, excluding Gift Aid.

Frequently asked questions
Will I receive a top for the Hackney Half Marathon?
Yes, we will send you a Stroke Association running top when you hit 50% of your fundraising target. This will arrive with you by approximately two weeks before event date at the latest.
When is the deadline to raise 50% of my fundraising target, in order to secure my charity place?
At least 50% of your sponsorship target should be with the charity by 31 January 2026. It's at this time the Stroke Association agrees to pay the fee for your place. Failure to meet this deadline may result in the cancellation of your place. The remainder of your minimum sponsorship should reach the Stroke Association by 14 June 2026 (4 weeks after the event).
