I'm fundraising for...
Stroke Association is here to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. We believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke, so we work with the stroke community to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support. We rely on your support to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.

Big Andrew Shaw
Friday 30th OctNext year, I’ll be taking on the Great North Run swim at the Swim Serpentine event in Newcastle on 19th September to raise money for the Stroke Association,
In October 2024, Andrew suffered a stroke while driving home from work on the motorway. He was just 58 years old, and in that moment, his life changed
Every day, around 240 people in the UK wake up to the life-changing impact of a stroke. It can happen to anyone, at any age, even to people with no previous symptoms or obvious risk factors like my Dad.
The Stroke Association is the UK’s leading stroke charity, funding vital research and providing lifelong support to stroke survivors and their families. Their work gives people hope, practical help, and the chance to rebuild their lives after stroke.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how big or small. Every contribution helps the Stroke Association continue their incredible work and support more people on their road to recovery.
Let’s get after it !
