This cause is incredibly close to my heart—my amazing partner, Rosie, had a stroke a few years ago, and I’ve seen firsthand the challenges she's faced since. In classic Rosie style, she’s come through it with her strength and spirit more than intact, but not everyone gets the help they need.
That’s why I’m taking on 26.2 miles to raise vital funds for the Stroke Association. They provide life-changing support for survivors and their families, fund groundbreaking research, and help improve stroke care across the UK.

Training for the London Marathon: Running with Purpose
Wednesday 12th FebSigning up for the London Marathon 2025 felt like a huge challenge, but as the miles have added up, I’ve fallen back in love with running - over 4 years since my last marathon.
Whenever my legs feel heavy or the finish line seems far away, I think of Rosie, and it keeps me going.
Physically, I’ve lost almost 5kg, and I feel fitter than ever. But more importantly, running has helped me mentally a ridiculous amount.
This marathon isn’t just about crossing the finish line—it’s about making a difference for those affected by strokes. If you can, please donate and help support this incredible cause. Every pound raised is another step towards providing care, rehabilitation, and hope.
