I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve joined #TeamStroke for the Great North Run 2025! This incredible event is more than just a race; it’s an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of stroke survivors and their families.

Every year, over 100,000 strokes occur in the UK—equating to one stroke every five minutes. With over 1.3 million stroke survivors in the country, the need for support and resources is urgent. I’ve chosen to run for Stroke Association because this cause is deeply personal to me. I have seen the impact of stroke on people close to me, and I want to help ensure that no one has to face the challenges of recovery alone.

Stroke Association is dedicated to supporting individuals as they rebuild their lives after stroke. They believe everyone deserves the best care and support possible, and I wholeheartedly agree. Their work not only provides vital services for those affected by stroke but also campaigns for better stroke care and funds essential research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.
