I'm taking part in the TCS London Marathon as part of #TeamStroke In Memory of My Mum 💜
What am I getting myself into?! Right now, I can just about manage a 5k — so taking on 26.2 miles in the London Marathon 2026 will be by far my biggest running challenge yet. But every step will be worth it.
I'm running for the Stroke Association, and I'm doing it in memory of my amazing mum, who tragically passed away in 2022, aged only 43. 💔
Mum and I shared a special moment back in 2018 when we stood by the side lines and watched the marathon together. I remember saying to her, “One day I’ll do it.” Since then, I’ve cheered from the side lines every single year — supporting the incredible runners as they tackled the course with determination, heart, and hope.
This time, I’ll be on the other side! I'll be one of those runners and I’ll be carrying my Mum with me every step of the way.
Running for the Stroke Association means so much. Stroke is a devastating condition that can change lives in an instant — for those affected and their loved ones. The support, research, and advocacy they provide is vital, and I want to do everything I can to help them continue their amazing work.
I’d love your support — whether that’s cheering me on, sharing my story, or donating if you can. Every pound raised goes toward life-changing work, and every step I run will be in memory of Mum and for all those affected by stroke.
